This stay was directly surprised by the private soup room! Independent small courtyard + Japanese-style pool can also see the view of the Yunzhong River. The front desk clerk, Miss Zhang Shuyu, is more satisfied with the service. I called in advance to ask about my needs. I was warm and thoughtful. The curtains in the room are exclusive to the small world. Don't worry about privacy at all. The water temperature can be adjusted. The pool is clean and hygienic, and it is cleaned every day. It is much more comfortable than the public hot spring. The room is spacious and bright. It is equipped with a projector and a small refrigerator for snacks. It is super comfortable to watch a movie on the bed after taking a bath. It is too healing to watch the night view in the hot spring! The room also prepared bathrobes, refreshments and light music, the atmosphere is directly full, the proper holiday ceremony, I want to live for a week next time!

The stay experience is amazing! As soon as I entered the lobby, I was cured by the elegant fragrance and warm smile. The staff took the initiative to help carry the luggage and sent a welcome drink intimately. The room was clean to spotless, the bedding was fluffy and soft, and the tea break corner by the window was super atmospheric. Smart toilets, and fully automatic curtains, full details. AAnonymous UserYou cannot use simple ”satisfaction” or ”dissatisfaction” to evaluate such a thoughtful B&B. Nanman Nanman is a small but beautiful, quiet and gentle hotel.
We are always attentive and considerate of our guests. You will be pleasantly surprised that when you wake up early in the depths of this mountain, you will have a cup of coffee that is no less than a professional coffee shop in the city. The breakfast is simple and exquisite, and you can eat local specialties.
Every decoration and detail in the hotel, from the furnishings to the hand sanitizer in the guest rooms, all demonstrate the manager's excellent taste and pursuit of quality.
Stayed for 2 consecutive days and had three meals a day. The dishes at each meal amazed my friends in the same group. They were simple, local, exquisite and delicious!
The service staff are professional and attentive. They can talk about the culture and history here, but also keep a just right distance from you, making you comfortable and stress-free.

The hotel sent a message early in the morning, and the video clearly informed the self-driving entrance route. 💁♀️ The young ladies at the service desk are sweet and kind. They will hand in the flower tea when they enter the door, help with luggage, take the initiative, respond promptly to WeChat, and respond quickly to needs. Special praise 👍 💁♂️ Xiaoyan, waiting at the entrance of the hotel early in the morning, directing parking, luggage handling, introducing the highlights of the facilities in the room, warm. The private soup villa we booked in the ”Yuan” courtyard is very private. 🛁 The hot spring water quality is good, and the water is fast, the pool is full in seven minutes, very relaxing. The space in the room is tall, 2 meters big bed, and the comfort of the bedding is well received. 🥤 Small refrigerator drinks are free and fruit plates are presented. The boss's private mineral water and 🍵 tea and handmade tea set made Cantonese people very happy. 🚿 Bathing equipment is novel and high-quality, meticulously considered, the bathroom space is large, and the shower water output is rapid and smooth.

GGuest UserI often come to Mount Wutai, and after seeing the recommendation from Ctrip, I booked a newly opened homestay: it is located in the most prosperous Yangbaiyu Service Area in the scenic area. The homestay is right there after you park your car nearby. The lighting on the first floor is a little blocked, but the second floor is bright and spacious, with antique decoration and exquisite details, much like the lay Buddhist building in a certain temple.
The room is decorated with solid wood, the linens are comfortable, it is a brand new room but has no smell, it has floor heating and is equipped with independent air conditioning, so you can control the temperature yourself. The boss, Xiao Dong, seems very down-to-earth. He recommends some routes, makes travel guides, and also provides tour guide services. However, since I come here so often, it is useless. The store offered tributes, and the boss personally took us to the Wuye Temple to burn incense. It was very good service, five stars for encouragement!

I slept at 11 o'clock in the evening on the first day. At 3 o'clock in the morning, I was awakened 3 times. I was awakened again at 6:30 in the morning. It was very noisy. I immediately communicated with the boss. The boss said that it was the reason for my window to be open, but whether the window is opened or not, it is very, very noisy, and there will be noise outside. I told the boss that I opened the window because the room smelled big. The boss replied to me. This year, the new one was opened and it has been a year, but I still feel that the taste is a bit heavy. Maybe I am more sensitive to the taste. The next day, the boss helped me change to the 3rd floor. It was quiet. It is not recommended to live on the first floor of my set. Then, I can feel that the owner of the hotel is running this homestay with care. The attitude is also very good, and the homestay is also clean. GGuest UserOt's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly.
The hotel is also close to the central bus station.
The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were.
She then helped us to get our partial redunds.
And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong.
She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away.
So top marks for her customer service
The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast )

VVaruneshWūtaishan is in itself a sacred place of pilgrimage of utter magic and life, staying in Tingfengyin Inn was an added charm of sheer care and concern. The Inn has a really sacred feeling, situated next to the Lush hills where the Bodhisattva of Wisdom impregnates his being to the core, in calm and quiet and in a traditional Chinese setting, the managers of this inn were always there to help and watch out for all sorts of needs for the pilgrim. Indeed, the spacious room, the beautiful view, to contemplate life while sipping some very good tea, to have been provided with the ample supply of drinking water, to have all the utilities one may need in the room or the washroom, to have amazingly ergonomic storage spaces, to have the possibility of having an early morning breakfast, the Inn has been excellent in providing a homely feeling to the guests, and for that I am deeply thankful.

AAnonymous UserLocated near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel.
Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

AAnnie PBPMy room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

HHanqing～yanIt feels so good to live halfway up the mountain. You can overlook the panoramic view. You can also watch the night view directly from the small terrace. The hot water is very good. The boss is also very helpful. He added a WeChat message in advance to let him know how to get there. In the morning, there was a little orange cat begging for food.
